Senior Citizen Demanded P5M from Tripping at Bacolod Airport

The video of this senior citizen demending a P5 million in compensation from a guy is now circulating and now went viral in social medias.
The incident is happened in April 2014 when the senior citizen named Rosario Hofileña, filed a complaint against John Marie Lizares. It is reported that Hofileña was tripped on Lizares's bag at Silang Bacolod Airport. 

She filed a complaint of reckless imprudence resulting in serious physical injuries with failure to lend assistance on the spot at Silay City Prosecutor's Office and asking for P5million for civil damage. 

Reyfrando Diaz II, Lizares' brother-in-law claimed he's the owner of the bags, but Renecito Novero, lawyer of the Hofileña family insisting that Lizares was the truly owner of the bags. Lizares reportedly offered P120,000 for financial assistance but the Hofileña's family rejected it saying the said amount could not even make up for Mrs. Hofileña's medical expenses.

Based on the report of news site Visayan Daily Star, Hofileña stated that the incident happened when she was at X-ray machine and getting her bag when Lizares, who's behind her, is also picking up his two bags and placed them on floor behind Hofileña's feet. Hofileña didn't notice the bags and she tripped and fell on the floor fracturing her left shoulder. Lizares didn't even help her and just continue to picked up his bags, as some airport personnel helped Hofileña and just went as if nothing happened.
