MARA Jasmine Curtis Smith

20-year-old Jasmine Curtis-Smith, a popular sister of Kapamilya's actress/host Anne Curtis, is giving another chance to show her acting skills in big screen.

 

After making her successful Kapamilya movie "Halik sa Hangin", with Gerald Anderson and Julia Montes a bit hit, Jasmine will be giving another role in a suspense-horror-drama movie entitled "MARA", under Regal Films together with Paulo Avelino and Isabelle Daza. "It's a horror [movie] but it centralizes on family relationship. So sister ko dito si Isabelle, tapos si Paulo is a police officer," Jasmine said during on her interview. She also stated that she has been working for about 6 months in this movie.

Also, during her interview on "Aquino and Abunda Tonight", she said that, “Mahal niyo lang po ako dito kaya napapadalas. I still have a contract with another network. I’m just enjoying the opportunity na makatrabaho lahat ng productions especially for film,” which gives speculations to all her fans if she is planning to transfer to ABS-CBN.

As of now, Jasmine is busy with her hosting in "Move It", a new show from TV5, together with former child star Tom Taus.


MARA will be release in cinemas this coming March 2015. To all Jasmine Curtis-Smith fans, don't forget to support her movie.
