One Directioner Liam Payne's Apartment on Fire!
A fun celebration with friends turned into a serious event when fire broke out on Liam Payne's apartment.
Last Monday, September 2, Liam Payne was with his friends in his apartment in London when a fire came from his balcony of the 34th floor building catches their attention. The fire was reported starts at 9:48 p.m when his friend was trying to “refuel” an outdoor heater and two men and a woman were injured. The singer raced out and accompanied the injured friends to the hospital and treated their burns.
The victim was identified as Liam's childhood friend Andy Samuels who suffered second-degree burns on his upper body. His girlfriend, Daisie Smith tweeted "Thank you so much for all of your lovely messages & prayers," she also added "On behalf of Andy's family & I we'd like you to know he is in a stable condition.
According to Andy's stepfather, Matthew Baker, "We are so grateful to Liam because he saved his life," he also added, "The lantern just exploded as Andy was lighting it and it took the full force of the flames. Liam helped him by beating out the flames and dousing him with water. He acted quickly and swiftly."
According to a statement issued by the London Fire Brigade, the fire was quite big and 6 fire engines with 35 firefighters responded to the scene that took 45 minutes until they totally put out the fire. They also noted that the balcony is in severe damage and 80 percent of it was charred. Payne has been silent and not stating any comments as of now.
