Lea Salonga to Anne Curtis for "NOT BEING A SINGER"

International Singer, Broadway Diva and one of The Voice of the Philippines' Judge Lea Salonga shared her opinion towards It's Showtime Host, Anne Curtis's performance last Sunday, February 8, on Kapamilya singing show, The Voice of the Philippines.

Before the winner last Sunday is being announce, Anne Curtis performed a special song number with Icona Pop's song"I Love It and All Night", together with Bamboo and six finalist.

Before the performance, Anne posted a tweet on her twitter, “Here we gooooooooo!!!Please pray for me!!! I'm soooooo nervous!!!! Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would step foot on this stage!”

“Another DREAM COME TRUE! Here we gooooo! #AnneOnTheVoicePH #VoicePH16,”.

The said performance wildly enjoyed by the live viewers, even Lea Salonga that can't helped herself but to stand and dance.

After the show, Lea is now on her regular “#AskCoachLea” session, to answer some questions from Twitter Followers. One of her follower ask her, what can she say about Anne's performance, and Lea reply "So much Fun". But another follower ask her "How about her singing?" Lea confidently replied, “She’s still not a singer (which she admits openly). But her intonation is improving”.

Some of the netizens misunderstand it, that later on spread in social medias. Netizens share their different opinions (good or bad) towards Lea's comment. But to Anne, it didn't seemed a bad comment but instead, she took it as a complement. She even reply to Lea's comment with “KILIG TO THE BONES!!!".

As many of her fans expressed their support and praised her for her very remarkable performance on The Voice PH, other netizens can't help but also express their negative opinions to Anne's performance. Also some netizens found it awkward, because not a long time ago, around 2012, Lea's comment towards Anne's singing is being misinterpret and turns out into negative comment resulting as if Lea is criticizing Anne's singing.
