Pinay Nurse with MERS Virus UPDATE

The pinay nurse who is reportedly infected by the deadly Middle East Respiratory Syndrome-Coronavirus (MERS-CoV) which is now confined at Research Institute for Tropical Medicine (RITM) last Tuesday, February 10 is now in stable condition, confirmed by the DOH.

As Dr. Lyndon Lee Suy of the Department of Health's National Center for Disease Prevention and Control, said in a report on "News TV Live", the Dr. also confirmed that the nurse is now stable, but still under treatment due to her cough.

Also, she added that, the DOH is now locating and tracking the 200 fellow passengers of the nurse on that flight from Saudi. Also the husband of the nurse is being examined now, if he is also infected by the virus.

We're hoping for her fast recovery.
